Last Saturday, June 12, was held in the Auditorium of the City of La Esperanza, the first workshop organized by the committee Agroecology local Yes we can El Rosario, which was a popular success because it took about seventy people, of which a significant portion came to Yes we can for the first time.
The event consisted of a series of papers, respectively defended by Enrico Valentini (Agroecology), Ramón Rizo (Marketing), Javier Hernandez (Pesticide Residues in foods) and Antonio Cabrera (local management), and a final meeting for groups using an innovative methodology that was discussed in response to a series of questions related to organic farming and would lead to more than forty proposals Yes we can incorporate in its electoral program. It was further agreed that shortly Yes We Can will reach these conclusions to the Departments of Agriculture, Government and the Cabildo Insular Canario and the Department of Agriculture of the municipality, to know them and do with as they see fit.
The success of participation and the format and quality of proposals has made the local committee Yes we can to consider the development of new workshops in which they will progressively address the guidelines of municipal management, so that proposals provide real support for the electoral program of the municipal training eco-socialist . To do this already preparing new workshops, Environment, Youth and Sport, Transport, etc. These will be developed throughout this year, alternately in the coast and in the midlands of the municipality.
